Neuromodulator injections - Botox/Dysport

Microneedling

Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy is a safe, minimally invasive treatment, that involves the use of very fine needles, to create micro-wounds in the skin. This stimulates your skin's natural healing response, by increasing the production of collagen and elastin.

Benefits include

  • Diminished appearance of scars, including Acne scars, stretch marks.

  • Improves skin complexion, and decreases hyperpigmentation or dark spots on the skin.

  • Improves skin tone and texture.

  • Improves skin elasticity

  • Decreases the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles

  • Decreases pore size

  • Also stimulates hair growth, so used for the treatment of Alopecia (hair loss/balding)

The procedure usually is 60 minutes. You will be provided with a topical anesthetic or numbing cream, to be applied prior to your appointment. During your microneedling treatment with the Health Canada approved Innopen device,  I use bioactive agents specifically created for each of the above conditions, which then will be absorbed into the skin, by means of these micro-wounds. After the procedure, I apply a hyaluronic acid mask to soothe your skin.

After your treatment, you may notice redness, and dry skin that can last 2-3 days, and the skin has a sunburnt appearance. I will provide you with a small sample of mineral sunscreen, hyaluronic acid gel, and a mask to apply at home, and minimize these effects.

I recommend 3 to 6 treatments, depending on the condition and area treated.  Also, see Products for at-home devices and serums, and book your free consult today, to determine which treatment is right for you.
